German bands continue to impress, with ZQKMDGZ and Giant Lungs recently scoring on the Doom Charts. The latest addition is Eleanore, a heavy rock band from Emden, that released the EP, “Demotape” on YouTube. The EP, recorded in a garage, showcases Eleanore’s unique brand of stoner/desert/alternative rock with a punk energy.

This week has had two very distinct sides for me. On one hand, it’s been an insanely busy one for me personally, so I’ve been using my favorite music to help me focus and center myself whenever I can. That most often means revisiting some of my favorite older albums.
