Last week, I published my worst video ever.
I love working with Jipsy and Blake. Sometimes I feel like the luckiest guy in the entire scene. They are so fun to work with, we get along so well, and we can talk for hours!
Which is the major problem with one of my latest videos. Sometimes I can fall “in love” with a project a little too much, and that certainly happened with this version of Blake vs. Scott: The Black Sabbath Death Match. If you know the vibe between the three of us, you might enjoy it. We go on and on and on and on…
The thing is, that wasn’t the intent of the video. The idea is to grow the channel, and put our content that will appeal to people outside of the stoners/doom community. I forgot about that when I did the first edit. I just loved hearing the back-and-forth, and even the title sent the wrong message. Except for a couple of hundred people, nobody knows who “Blake and Scott” are. Even fewer are going to care.
I just completed a re-edit, taking it down from 72 minutes to 35 minutes. Yes, I cut it in half. It’s still fun, it’s still funny, but I think it’s way more watchable.
I hope y’all give it a shot!
As we continue to grow as a channel and as creators, I’m sure we’re gonna make more mistakes. But we are also gonna learn from them: I think that’s what Clean and Sober Stoner is all about. Part of it, anyway.
