My All-time Favorite Songs!

I’ve wanted to do this list for years: my All-time Favorite Songs! Just one of those things that goes through my head from time to time, and like most things, I’m busy doing or avoiding something else.

I was watching Reacher on Prime with Newbie Doomer the other night when one of the episodes ended with Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd. The show was a little “meh,” but the soundtrack is killer. So, I started the list. Besides, every time I say, “that’s one of my favorite songs!,” she says, “where’s the list?”

Well, here it is…

Now, I know I’m using the evil Spotify, but honestly, it’s a very useful tool. Besides, my service of choice is Tidal, and not nearly as many people use that. I do hope that one or two of you find something here, and then support the band on Bandcamp or elsewhere.

This is not meant to be a serious list. I mean, every one of these is songs is a favorite, but this isn’t ranked or in any kind of order. I might even switch a few up. If I skip a song down the road, I’ll probably replace it.

So far, I only have one song per band. That could change, but I want to avoid the usual Sabbath/Kyuss/Yob/Uriah Heep list I always have going on in my head.
