It’s no secret that Evil Leaf has been a favorite on this site ever since they released their single, Tenebris, a few months ago. Recently, they released their first EP, Slow Burn. .
So- does the EP live up to the hype I’ve had? Absolutely. This is a dose of well-written and smartly-produced Doom tracks that have a certain cross-over appeal to traditional Heavy Metal.
This site puts a lot of emphasis on new, unsigned and unknown bands. We think there’s a good chance Evil Leaf won’t fit into those categories over the coming year. Check it out for yourself as we give a reaction to the title track, Slow Burn.
